| ACADEMIA FOR GREEN AFRICA (AFGA) |
Academia for Green Africa (AGFA) is an Initiative of Envirofly Consulting UK Limited and Benson Idahosa University, Nigeria ,that identifies the role of academic institutions in Africa towards meeting and addressing the current global challenges of Climate Change and the Environment.
Conceived in early 2010 as a follow up to the deliberations of the last Climate Change Summit in Copenhagen, this initiative is strategic in bridging the environmental competence gaps currently in Africa using strategic partnerships and networks with established environmental academic institutions and bodies globally.
As a result of this, Benson Idahosa University and Envirofly Consulting UK Limited are hosting the first conference to identify and enhance the role of African academic institutions in achieving a Greener Africa.
